Hi there,

I’m Alexandru Badiu, a web developer currently located in Bucharest, Romania. I am a programmer by trade and that’s where my special skills are. However, due to the nature of my work, I also have experience in the client side area, whether it relates to markup, css, usability or ui and interaction design. I specialize in Drupal, Django and Solr.

I believe in open source and I have been lucky to work for people who appreciated OSS like me and who agreed to let me release things back to the community.

I am currently doing freelance work under the moniker Plan 9 and I’m also working for Adulmec, a Drupal startup in Romania and Openly Connected. For the last three years I’ve been also teaching web related courses at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Bucharest (Asp.NET and client side programming).

I am also the administrator of Drupal Romania which we’re currently rebuilding.

This theme is loosely based on Scribbish and uses graphics from Komodo Media, Rogie King.
